✖ Canon. Friend and fellow fighter. Gon is just a one-of-a-kind kid, and Kurapica recognizes that. Gon can make friends easily and has a way of swaying people to his side, something that Kurapica admires. He's also entrusted his life multiple times with Gon, and Gon has more than shown his loyalty after he asked Kurapica to use the Judgment Chain on him.

Killua Zoldyck
✖ Canon. Friend and fellow fighter. Even when Kurapica loses his cool, Killua can pull him out of his hotheadedness with logic. Kurapica respects Killua for both his skills and his decision to leave behind assassin work for Gon, and on more than one occasion, Pica has entrusted Killua with his life.

Leorio
✖ Canon. Friend and fellow fighter. Though it seems that Kurapica butts heads with Leorio constantly and Kurapica may tease him, Kurapica actually holds Leorio in high regard. He may be even better friends with Leorio than Gon or Killua, and Kurapica values his kindness and trust. Leorio also has the ability to pull Kurapica out of his hotheadedness, though through appealing to his emotions and common sense.

Senritsu
✖ Canon. Friend and fellow coworker. Kurapica doesn't exhibit the level of trust and/or confide in Senritsu as much as Gon, Killua, and Leorio, but Pica still values their friendship - even if he doesn't admit it. Senritsu has been there multiple times for Pica, even in his darkest times of seeking revenge, and so he has learned to appreciate and trust Senritsu - both as a comrade and a friend.

Fran
✖ Complicated. Fran appeals to Kurapica's darker side in that Fran has a more cynical, mistrusting take on people as a whole, and Kurapica agrees with Fran's careful alliances and planning. That aside, he sometimes finds Fran annoying and a bit too morally-ambiguous. Not to mention, Fran's use of illusions is a little creepy, though Kurapica would never admit it. Future plans: ?

Frau
✖ How do you categorize Pica's relationship to a man like Frau? In all honesty, he straddles the line between 'friendly' and 'dislike/distrust' in Kurapica's mind, though so far Frau has done nothing inherently wrong (other than treating him like a kid and invading his personal space). Kurapica just isn't used to the kind of unwavering friendship Frau keeps trying to offer him, and so he immediately suspects he's up to something. At the same time, Frau sometimes says things that are oddly sensible, almost as if he were mentoring... Future plans: eventual mentorship/friendship.

✖ Kurapica doesn't know much about Ion either, but so far he's definitely shown zero malicious intent, and in fact, Kurapica feels a slight protection over him already. Kurapica also appreciates Ion's intelligence and level-headed calm, and for sure both Kurapica and Ion are 'walking encyclopedias'. If Ion ever gets into trouble, Kurapica will be sure to act and come to his rescue. Future plans: friendship/'Ooh Mr. Kurapica: A Fanfiction'

✖ Kurapica has only just met Kagome, so he doesn't know much about her, but he does know she is one of Sango's friends. They got along well during their first conversation, and so while Kurapica doesn't trust her completely yet, she displayed good character. Future plans: ?

✖ Another on Kurapica's list of people to watch out for. Killua described him as like Hisoka, with a desire to take people apart, so Kurapica's plan is not let that desire happen. Furthermore, Kurapica hates the fact that he physically abuses his subordinate.

Naraku
✖ Kurapica has had very little direct contact with Naraku, but he wouldn't want to have contact with Naraku at all. Killua has goaded Naraku into fighting him at one point, but thankfully Sango was able to intervene before such a fight happened. Furthermore, Sango has warned everyone about him, and Kurapica has every reason to trust Sango's warnings. He sounds like a powerful being; Kurapica wants to avoid confronting him, though he realizes he may have to if Sango ever reaches conflict with him.

✖ Raven is oddly like him, because Kurapica takes a long time to fully trust anyone, much less to become their friend. But it's because of this that their current relationship is only an alliance, with a slowly growing acquaintanceship. Killua's friendship with Raven is mostly what started their alliance, and in some cases, Killua is the inadvertent glue that keeps them together. To be honest, Kurapica doesn't know much about Raven yet, but he will, if their continued association is anything to go by. Future plans: friendship.

✖ Kurapica's relationship to Sango is one of growing trust and acquaintanceship. Sango has helped Kurapica on more than one occasion, even when he had nothing to give in return, and he hopes to return the favor when he can. The foul relationship between Killua and Sango is problematic, and the tension with Naraku even more so. Future plans: friendship.

✖ A friend? Kurapica isn't sure yet, but friendly enough that he can make almost cocky asides and spar with the man. Admittedly, Spike seems fairly honest with himself, and Kurapica likes that Spike changed his ways for another. In case he isn't what he seems, though, Kurapica is ready to fight back - though he doubts that will be the case.
